Maha Kumbh 2025 was the large twelve-year gathering held in Prayagraj. Magh Mela is the annual winter fair at the Sangam. Do not reuse Maha Kumbh dates, crowd estimates, permits or “shahi snan” sales copy for a later Magh Mela.
For reference, the official 2026 Magh Mela bathing dates included Mauni Amavasya on 18 January, Basant Panchami on 23 January, Maghi Purnima on 1 February, and Maha Shivaratri on 15 February. That event has passed.

Varanasi to Prayagraj is normally reached by NH-19 through Handia. Actual journey time depends on the pickup point, city traffic, weather and any official diversions.
